NviroTek Laboratories is an independent national, world class analytical facility for Agriculture in Southern Africa. The best equipment and techniques available have been utilised to ensure adherence to international standards for quality and turn-around time. The building has been designed within environmental and safety standards, to effect optimal flow and processing of large sample volumes. During the benchmarking exercise, formal associations have been established with several prominent North-American agricultural laboratories.
The laboratory follows recognized methods of analyses and is ISO 17025:2005 accredited (accreditation number T0822).
The company employs experienced staff – the technicians jointly have more than 70 years of experience in agricultural analyses. This independent laboratory therefore offers a range of analytical services to the broader agricultural sector throughout Southern Africa.
The laboratory has relocated to its own building in Ou Wapad Straat, Ifafi, Hartbeespoortdam. It is off the R511 ( Beethoven Street ) and situated on the left corner at the circle.

NviroTek expands its services into environmental and biological analyses.
Dr. Hendrik Smith is now associated with NviroTek Laboratories on a part time basis. Hendrik Smith is a registered Professional Natural Scientist (Soil Science) with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions. He has a long history of working on projects related to water quality (irrigation water and effluents), soil quality and soil surveys. Hendrik in association with Adam Loock, previously Laboratory Manager from the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) Institute for Soil climate and Water, are involved with NviroTek Laboratories to diversify and grow their present analytical expertise into environmentally related substrate, soil, water and vegetation analyses. Supporting data evaluation and interpretation services will be provided in cooperation with clients in line with client needs. In addition the neglected soil biology concept supporting the quantification of soil health, will be evaluated commercially.
